Japanese Classes
Japanese Language is available as an opt in subject being available in Years 4, 5, & 6. Our Japanese Teacher is very experienced and students undertaking this option are fluent speakers by the time they leave the school in Year 6. Parents pay $25. 00 per term for their children to be involved in this programme.
High Achievers Class
This is a class which operates one day a week with students who have proven to be high achievers in all areas. They are selected for their ability to;
- Solve difficult problems quickly and easily
- Make good leaders
- Have the most original ideas
- Express their own ideas forthrightly
- Have independent work habits, and exhibit good time management skills.
Reading and Maths Recovery Programmes
These programmes operate in the Kiwi Block (Years 3-6) to assist students identified as at risk in aspects of Mathematics and Reading.
