Welcome to the Hampton Hill School Fundraising page.
Each year the Board of Trustees sets a fundraising target to generate the balance of the annual income that is required to operate the school over and above that provided by government funding and the annual school donations.
Who is responsible for the fundraising?
The school's fundraising activities are co-ordinated by Hadyn Hunt, who has an 'informal' committee of willing and eager parents. If you would like to be involved on the informal committee, are willing to help out on the day of an event or have any ideas on fundraising opportunities, please contact Hadyn on hadynh@windowslive.com or 2323 755.
What sort of fundraising events are organised?
The big item for 2010 is a garage sale being held on 18 Septemnber 2010 at the Salvation Army Hall in Tawa. Additionally there are a number of smaller activities that are run throughout the year such as raffles, Knowledgeathons, Entertainment Book sales, childrens artwork calendars and cards etc.
Fundraising Communication
This is by way of a fundraising newsletter that goes home to all families and is also available on the school website. Parents are surveyed for their feedback on the fundraising activities and ideas for future events.
We are always happy to receive new ideas, offers of help and sponsorship. Please contact either the school office on 232-6509, email office@hamptonhill.school.nz or Hadyn Hunt hadynh@windowslive.com
How you can help
- Support our fundraising activities by volunteering and participating .
